| THANKSGIVING!It's just around the corner and I'm pretty excited. I love all the colors, and the food, and mostly being reminded to thank my God for all the incredible people and things He's blessed me with. I thought I'd name a few of the best: First of all, God's Grace and Forgiveness, His Mercy and Justice, His Passion and Purity, His Love and Protection. He is everything to me, He gave everything for me, and I am so blessed to be a part of Him! My Family. I adore my parents and all 5 siblings. They mean the world to me. I may be a dork, but I love living at home, and I'm very blessed to have that option with school so close. My Other Family. The Callahans. I know I can count on them for anything, they are always there for me. They're like having a second family, and even when we are busy and don't see each other too much, somehow we're always still connected, still there if we're needed. I love that. My Extended Family. All the Grandmas, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who make my life crazy and wonderful. I don't get enough of them. Especially Uncle Bob and Aunt Patty who are like second parents to me. I miss them Terribly now, but I'm blessed to know they always care. My Big Bro. He's looked out for me ever since my traumatic introduction to the wonderful world of "relationships" last Christmas. I don't have a biological big brother, but I don't need one. He more than makes up for that. He has incredible insight and communication skills, he can look objectively and intuitively at situations, and I've never heard a single derogatory word out of his mouth about anyone. THAT is impressive. But what I love most is that while I have NO clue why he cares so very much, and he never has really verbalized it, I know he truly does. Summit Ministries. It has grown me up in more ways than even I know, it has brought the kid out, it has been my reason for coming in contact with some of the most amazing people I've ever met, it's challenged me, and strengthened my walk, it's made me a little more confident, a little more of a leader. It's the ministry I love the most and am most committed to. It introduced me to Colorado, a place I had been in love with for years through books and movies, in so many ways. It was there I learned how to seek after God with abandon, even though I don't do it like I should. And most of all I am thankful for the people I met there, the Leaders and Faculty, every Staff member, every Volunteer, every one of My Girls, and the many Students who changed my life forever. All the Friends. God has blessed me with people to love on, who encourage me, from the BCM, from Westwood, from Kingwood, from my Classes, from Briarwood, from Hope and many other places. They mean so very much to me. I'm also so thankful for~ Fall Colors My Cozy House Twinkle Lights Cats, especially mine Amazing Books and Authors from across the ages Levi, my camera, for Photography Sunflowers Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwiches and Milkshakes Planes with few trees and BIG skies And so very many other things, but those are just a few. Thank you for being a part of my life, whoever you are. :) |
